His first venture AsaDuru is a green building business that seeks to transform the built environment, to function in step with nature rather than degrading it. Born in Sudan, Mohamed is passionate about accelerating the progress of Africa. He is a former WEF Global Shaper, altMBA alumni and co-founder of NAIO Foundation (https://naio.foundation), a non-profit applying a methodology of empathy, engagement and empowerment within the built environment. Most recently he co-founded AKOMA, a collective of initiatives and people dedicated to addressing society's challenges holistically through regenerative development. Mohamed is also a director at 58, leading the development of a healing centre, regenerative farm, spiritual centre, a hotel, villas and more.
Heba is a Sudanese-American architect living in the Washington-DC area. Her love for both science and art led her to architecture school, where she discovered her love for design. Her international upbringing has given Heba the pleasure of working in different countries, broadening her understanding of the built environment through different mindsets, design styles, and construction methods. Heba enjoys taking projects from the first sketch to the delivery of building keys.
